How can we shift from blind stumbling to conscious progress?

Question from the Internet:

“Do you believe society is moving forward or are we just under the misconception that we are?”

We are always moving forward, as we are all part of Nature’s relentless evolutionary flow.

The question is if we are aware of this flow and if we are consciously participating in it, or we are simply, haplessly thrown from one extreme to another, blindly, instinctively stumbling from state to state?

At this stage, and until now in human history, we have been blindly stumbling from one vicious historic cycle to another, completely oblivious to the single, deterministic plan that governs everything that happens to us, pushes us forward.

We are the only creatures in Nature’s system that have the conscious, free chance, and ability to study and recognize this single plan and to methodically, purposefully adapt ourselves to it.

Then we could take our fate into our own hands and willingly, in full awareness ride the waves of progress as Nature’s consenting partners, proactively adapting ourselves to the coming changes before suffering, crisis pushes us to yield to them.

This is our true free choice in life and it gives us a tangible, realistic sense as if we designed and operated the whole system.
