How can we save ourselves — from ourselves?

Question from the Internet:

“How can we save the future of mankind- from mankind?”

We can do that by recognizing and accepting that we have to save ourselves from ourselves — meaning that we have to change ourselves.

According to our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, proudly and fiercely individualistic, egocentric nature — which is the root of all our problems — changing ourselves is the most difficult, it is simply unacceptable for our inherent ego.

This is why at the end of the day, we always find a way to blame others, to find excuses, and try changing, correcting, canceling others, we try manipulating the whole world around us — but changing ourselves is not an option.

This is why we need a unique, purposeful, and highly practical method, that can show us a brutally honest mirror in safe conditions, where we can start o see, experience all the true desires, intentions that drive us until we literally become sick of ourselves — more precisely we become sick of the inherent instincts that drive us.

Then we can develop, build a “new self”, an opposite one above and against the “old one” that cannot be suppressed, erased but can be neutralized, complemented with the “new, Nature-like, altruistic self”.

Then, when enough people start such a self-correction, self-upgrade in a mutually supportive, mutually complementing way, we will be able to rebuild human society in a new, Nature-like, mutually integrated manner and we will consciously pull ourselves towards a very different, successful, positive and constructive human development.

Without this conscious, proactive approach worsening crisis and finally intolerable suffering will convince us about the need to change ourselves.
