How can we perform truly natural, voluntary actions?
Question from the Internet:
“Is it possible that natural voluntary actions may become human acts and therefore may be judged to be either moral or immoral?“
At the moment all our actions are “unnatural” and “involuntary”, as we are all blindly governed by our inherently egocentric, subjective, individualistic, and exploitative instincts.
Our sense of independence, our sense of freedom is all illusory. All our thoughts, decisions, and actions are predetermined by myriads of cause and effect processes, factors, and conditions, blindly leading us to what we consider our conscious decisions and actions.
Human society, all the systems we have ever built, our morality and ethics are all the result of this, we all, inevitably live in an illusion, a real-life “Matrix” our egocentric, subjective nature built for us.
In order to come to truly voluntary actions, to have a free choice over our decisions, actions we need to liberate ourselves from the 100%, ruthless governance, the tyranny of our own ego, that forces us to make all calculations only for our own sake, for our own profit at the expense of others and Nature.
In order to escape our own ego, we have to shift from our originally “unnatural”, segregated, introverted, mutually exclusive attitude, relation to others to a “natural”, all-inclusive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing attitude, relationship.
This is how we come to “natural, voluntary” actions, when above and against the inherent ego — that cannot be suppressed or erased — we start acting like any other part, element of Nature’s fully integrated system, where the finely balanced general homeostasis creates and sustains life.
Our only truly free choice, voluntary action is whether we act under the tyranny, oppression of our inherent ego, or we voluntarily, willingly, methodically learn and implement how to exist like Nature’s, as single cells of a single, living organism, existing in order to facilitate, sustain the life of that organism.
