How can we live a sustainable lifestyle?
Question from the Internet:
“What would happen if everyone on Earth decided to lead a completely sustainable lifestyle, and what impact would this have on the environment, the economy, and society as a whole?”
If we all lived according to our true, natural, and modern necessities and within available resources, we could transform humanity and the world around us.
The problem is, we do not even know what our true necessities are, or what available resources are. When we determine our “necessities” we make calculations according to our inherently misguided, self-serving, self-justifying, and subjective calculations. And when we research nature, we can’t even scratch the surface, since with our inherent nature, we are incompatible with nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system. And without similarity and equivalence of the system, we have no ability to actually understand and attain the natural system “from within”.
Thus everything we establish and do is arbitrary, and even when we think our intentions are good and we live within our necessities, we are wrong.
Thus the first step towards the optimal state of living according to true necessities and within available resources is to make ourselves similar to nature’s system and follow its strict and unchanging laws, so we could truly research and attain the system.
This can happen only if we start rebuilding human society based on nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated template. This requires an honest and humble recognition of our inherently “cancer-like”, excessively overconsuming, and ruthlessly competitive nature and the willingness to change ourselves.
Then, we would need to accept and follow a unique scientific method that was specifically developed to help human beings to become compatible with nature and thus attain the system “from within” and become the system’s conscious and benevolent partners.
Only as a result of consciously, willingly, and methodically changing and developing ourselves can we reach compatibility with nature and learn about our true necessities, available resources, and our unique human role in the system.
Then we can enjoy our integral and internal observer and partner status in nature and our perfect and harmonious existence in human society.
