How can we learn about our purpose in life?
Question from the Internet:
“How do we know what we are required to do on this Earth?”
Your question is very important. As long as we do not know our overall, unique, evolutionary human purpose in life, we keep blindly stumbling from one vicious historic cycle to another. We keep stumbling from one individual or collective crisis to another while we all self-destruct.
We can see the “pandemic” of burnout, depression, emptiness, anger, and hate engulfing us all since we have no idea who we are and why we were born. The more we have, the more unhappy and restless we become. And in a generation when we have the wealth and technical ability to make this planet a “real-life Garden of Eden,” we are marching towards mutually assured self-destruction.
Fortunately, we have a unique, purposeful, and highly practical method — based on Nature’s fundamental laws and a complete and intimate knowledge of Nature’s cause-and-effect processes and evolution’s direction — that can not only teach us our purpose but can also give us the necessary tools and practice to fulfill it.
And as this method precisely explains it, our purpose is o become Nature’s only conscious, seamlessly integrated, and at the same time independent observers and equal partners. Everything that happens to us in life — both the seemingly best and the seemingly worst — has a single reason: to help and guide us towards that purpose, provided we use the necessary method to understand what is happening and react to it in the best possible way.
