How can we justify betraying others?!

Question from the Internet:

“What moves a human being to betray another? Do money and power justify everything?”

There is no justification needed. We cannot act in any other way, this is our “norm”. Knowingly, unknowingly we constantly betray, use, exploit each other.

This is how our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, individualistic, and subjective nature drives us, through ruthless competition, to succeed at the expense of each other.

While it does not look good and it is certainly unpleasant when betrayal is against us, behaving in such a way is not a ‘sin”, it is not “evil”.

We were created this way by evolution, we are not responsible for the desires, motivations, intentions moving, governing us, we did not have any free choice in relation to them.

And Nature’s evolution gave us such a seemingly harmful, unfinished, raw nature, inner program purposefully. By also giving us a unique Human intellect that is capable of critical self-assessment Nature also gave us the chance to complete our own development, to upgrade us with the help of Nature’s integral template and its forces.

But in order to start consciously, purposefully change, upgrade ourselves, first, we have to recognize, accept that our inherent nature is raw, harmful and it needs changing, correcting, refining. And this is the “crux of the matter” as our ego resists with all of its might to recognize any need to change ourselves. We would rather change, correct, cancel, and burn everything and everybody instead of looking at ourselves as the only element that needs changing.

This is why we need a unique, purposeful, and practical educational, scientific method that can help us recognize the desires, intentions, forces that inherently drive us and to grow, develop an irrepressible need to change ourselves. Then the method also provides the tools for this unprecedented, fundamental self-upgrade.

Then by changing ourselves through our own efforts we also take our fate and future into our own hands.
