How can we face the global challenges threatening our existence?

Question from the Internet:

“Should we shrink from challenges or face them head-on to tackle the ever-emerging problems?”

In order to face, understand and actually solve the growing global problems that threaten human survival, we need to shrink our inherently self-serving, self-justifying and exploitative egos.

Then we will be able to build Nature-like, mutually integrated and mutually complementing interconnections and cooperation, without which we will not be able to solve any of our problems.

Due to many contributing factors, we have reached the state of human development when our problem-solving ability and survival depend on becoming similar to Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system.

This is what Nature’s strict and unforgiving laws and evolution’s relentless drive towards the most optimal integration demand from us. So it does not matter what we think, what ideologies and philosophies we develop to justify ourselves and our behaviour.

If we do not understand and follow Nature’s laws, we sentence ourselves to extinction.
