How can we build a better world?

Question from the Internet:

“What are you proposing for a better world?”

“Our world” is made up of the people existing in it, with who we constantly interact and depend on. The rest of the world is simply serving the background. What unfolds in the rest of nature and how technology and all our system works all depends on people and how people relate to each other.

All our problems — historically and today — arise from the way we relate and connect to each other and with what desires and intentions we conduct our relationships. And the only true solution to any of our problems is based on addressing the interconnections and the cooperation between human beings.

By default, we are all proudly and fiercely individualistic; we all define ourselves through comparison to others. We all try to prove ourselves at the expense of others — knowingly or unknowingly. Thus human life, human society is always built on ruthless and exclusive competition, and all our actions are aimed at controlling, manipulating and exploiting others for our own selfish advantage.

This is the root cause of all the problems we have ever encountered and are still encountering.

This is why our problem-solving and our future survival depend on recognizing and actually feeling how much we are inevitably integrated and interdependent. Only from a true, visceral sense of interdependence — we can gain through the right method — can we find the motivation and strength to go above and against our instinctive nature and rebuild human interconnections and human society based on Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated template.
