How can we address today’s sociopolitical issues?
Question from the Internet:
“What would be your response to addressing the current sociopolitical issues?”
The current sociopolitical issue and all other issues have a single root cause. Thus we have to identify this single root cause and then learn how to remedy it.
Until now, human development and human history have been a blind and instinctive affair. We have been acting driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, subjective and exploitative nature for millennia, building and destroying civilizations, ideologies and societies through recurring and vicious cycles.
We have been lurching from one extreme to the other. Even now, we can watch how, after decades of “liberalism”, which basically tried to reverse and undo everything that gave people structure and foundation for life before creating a zero society without any values or goals, countries started lurching to the other, “far-right” extreme, desperately trying to hold on to those “values” and “principles” “liberalism” destroyed.
This will lead to increased nationalism and discrimination again — although we had discrimination and hatred against others in “liberalism” as well, but in another way.
We need to understand that there are no “good vs bad” people, ideologies, nations or systems. As long as our insatiable and irrepressible human ego controls everything, everything is bad and destructive. It does not matter what form this ego dresses into or what flags we carry; it can be capitalism or communism, liberalism or fascism, globalism or nationalism; everything serves only the human ego that destroys everything in the end, like cancer.
If we want true changes, if we want a better, safer, peaceful and relatively equal human society, if we want to learn how to solve our mounting [problems and safeguard our continuing survival in Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system, we have to start again.
We have to learn to look at ourselves and the world from Nature’s integral point of view. We have to build mutually responsible and mutually complementing human integration according to Nature’s template.
We do not have any other choices; we are not facing some “human judge”, there is no option to appeal or bribe anyone. We are facing the strict, unchanging and unforgiving laws of Nature. We either learn and implement these laws, adapting our life to them, or we punish ourselves like a fool that jumps off a cliff believing that the law of gravity does not apply to him.
