How can we achieve global peace?

Question from the Internet:

“How can one world government bring peace?”

No government — not even a world government — can bring peace. “Government” as we define it means governing above others, bringing laws, restrictions, control, trying to make people behave in a certain way coercively, against their will.

That will never bring peace.

We will reach peace only through the right, purposeful, and highly practical education. Such education can first of all explain, moreover show that the only obstacle to peace is the inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egoistic, individualistic, and exploitative nature that drives each and every human being.

Only when we accept, recognize this — that our instinctive, original inner program constantly pushes us towards ruthless competition, fight, to survive, succeed at each other’s expense at all cost — can we start proactively, willingly, and consciously changing ourselves and the way we relate to each other.

Then we will build sustainable, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing relationships, cooperation based on common, mutual goals, purpose — above the remaining, even growing diversity, mutual distrust, and animosity, without suppressing, erasing anything.

Then out of this dynamic, consciously built and maintained peace will grow our a global governing, facilitating body to make handling, solving global problems more effective.
