How can one personally contribute to peace?
Question from the Internet:
“How do you participate in the community toward peace?”
In order to participate in the community towards peace, first, we have to win a unique inner war.
There is no peace in the community, in the world because we are all driven by an inherently “warring”, egocentric, subjective, exploitative nature. Instinctively we want to rise above others, control others, convince everyone about our own rights, about our own truth, and knowingly, unknowingly we all succeed at each other’s expense as overcoming others, benefiting while others lose gives us the greatest pleasure.
This is how we are built by default, this is not a crime, we are not evil, evolution created humans this way.
But evolution also gave us the chance, ability to recognize that inherently we all behave like cancer and sooner or later we self-destruct. As a result of this unpleasant but truthful self-recognition we can start a unique process of fighting our own instincts, original inclinations, trying to relate to others, behave with others above and against how we would normally do.
While we cannot directly change, overcome our own nature, with the help of a special method, through mutually supportive mutually complementing cooperation we can harness Nature’s balancing, integrating forces, evolution’s overall direction towards the most optimal mutual integration. As a result, we can defeat, neutralize our egoistic, exploitative instincts and then turn to others with “peaceful” — mutually responsible, mutually complementing intentions.
Then we will build, facilitate “peace”, wholeness, a unique, fragile, dynamically sustained balance and homeostasis in human societies.
