How can humanity achieve anything?
Question from the Internet:
“What can human beings really achieve immediately?”
I am not sure about the “immediate” part of the question. On the other hand, if humans want to achieve anything — immediately or gradually — then we have to learn to work together through mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation.
This has nothing to do with “morals”, religions, mysticism or some nice slogans. This has nothing to do with anything that humans can come up with.
We exist in nature’s fully integrated and interdependent system. Humanity, as an integral part of Nature, is also a fully integrated and interdependent entity.
All our problems — historical and contemporary — come from the fact that we try to achieve everything individually, selfishly, at each other’s expense.
Thus we will achieve anything and survive only when we learn how to exist and behave like all other parts and elements of Nature — through selfless, positive, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing cooperation.
And even if we do not see results immediately, the moment we start making efforts to achieve such nature-like mutual integration above and against our inherent nature, we will experience immediate and positive changes.
