How are we influencing the world?
Question from the Internet:
“How are you influencing the world?”
As more and more people recognize and accept, we exist in a globally interconnected and inevitably interdependent world. In effect, we all function as cells of the same living organism.
And this is true not only on the scale of our families, countries, and the human world, but it is also true in relation to the planet and even beyond.
This all means, that knowingly or unknowingly, consciously or unconsciously, we constantly influence the world and everything in it. Even with our thoughts, and unspoken intentions we irrevocably and immediately influence and impact everything and everybody around us, above time and space.
We started to see that the so-called “butterfly effect” is not some idea or imagination, but it is a direct law in our world.
Thus our constant and inevitable influence on the world is not in question. The question is how aware we are of this influence if we can detect the direction and the effect of this influence, and whether we can actually control and aim this influence.
And here comes the difficult part.
By default, we are all 100% self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and individualistic. Whether we know about it or not, whether we agree or not, we constantly make calculations only for our own sake, for our own benefit.
We constantly accumulate and consume everything for ourselves beyond our necessities, while we are not even aware of our true necessities, since we exist within our own, egocentric and subjective cocoons. We constantly compete and fight with others for superiority and try to succeed at the expense of others and nature — consciously or unconsciously.
Thus our raw, inherent influence on the world and everything in it is by default negative and destructive. As long as we blindly follow our instinctive nature — as humanity has been doing until now — we act and exist like cancer in this fully and mutually integrated system.
Thus, when we have already recognized how our inherent nature works and what negative influence we exert around us 24/7, we need to develop a true and irrepressible need and desire to change and further develop ourselves.
Only by doing so — with the help of a unique, purposeful, and practical method together with other like-minded and mutually committed people — can we reach a state, where we will purposefully and consciously will influence everybody and everything around us in a positive, and constructive way.
