Harmonizing the interest of the individuals and the collective

Question from the Internet:

“What might be the consequences to individuals and society of too great an emphasis on the common good at the expense of individual rights? What about the consequences of an emphasis on individual rights at the expense of the common good?”

We tried both already and failed in both.

The first option was communism, trying to oppress individual desires, individual success, individual progress at the altar of the collective. It turned into oppression, terror.

The second option is raw capitalism and its different, mitigated forms we try in Western societies, trying to give free reign to individual success, progress while giving only minimal consideration to caring for those in need. It inevitably loses an increasing amount of people through the cracks as the peak of human pyramid accumulates, syphons most of the profit and resources for themselves, leaving the rest in unsustainable poverty, unemployment, hopeless situation while also restricting social mobility to cement their wealth and power.

Both lead to manipulating, oppressing, exploiting the masses, which in turn sooner or later leads to unrest, riots, revolutions, social breakup, wars.

We need a unique system which doesn’t suppress individual identities, unique abilities, individualistic aspirations, where everybody can use all their abilities in the most optimal way and extent, receiving all they need for such function, but at the same time they all work towards the well-being and most optimal development of the whole. And the whole society stays within the crucially important, Nature determined parameters of natural necessities and available resources.

This can unfold through a unique, integral education that can help us copy Nature’s integral template into Human society, neutralizing, complementing our inherently self-serving, individualistic, exploitative tendencies, instincts.

Only such a method can unfold, succeed through positive motivation, recruiting people through free choice without coercion, without misleading propaganda, without media, entertainment brainwash.
