Happiness is a state of connection

What is the one thing in your life that made you the happiest?

As I am gaining more and more experience in life — I am almost 55 — I can say that the happiest moments of my life have always been states when I was in some form of positive, mutual, reciprocal connection with other people.

Which is not surprising.

When we interconnect in a positive, mutually supportive, mutually complementing way with others we switch from an otherwise self-absorbed, limited “single-cell” existence to a qualitatively much higher collective, “multi-cellular” life with a completely different life circulation, communication providing a completely different life-experience.
