Question from the Internet:
“How has globalization and the awareness of it transformed global security?”
So far “globalization" - more precisely how we interpret it, use it - made the world increasingly less stable and less safe.
“Globalization" - existence in a globally integrated, interdependent world - is not something man-made. We evolved into such a global, integral world as a result of Nature’s evolution driving the whole system towards increasing integration.
At this stage we try to use our inevitable global interconections the same way we use everything: with our inherently selfish, egotistic, subjective, exploitative intentions, calculations.
This creates an explosive paradox between our integral evolutionary conditions and the cancer-like ego that drives us.
We can build a safer, more peaceful, sustainable human system only when we learn how to build Nature-like, mutually responsible, mutually complementing cooperation above and against everything that rejects, separates us from each other - without trying to suppress, cancel, erase anything.
