Global, integral solutions for global, integral problems

“Climate change means nothing special, as the climate is always changing. Global warming had a meaning in itself. What are other words or expressions that don’t mean anything per se, but still might trigger people’s feelings and cause division?”

Actually, nothing means anything in itself, we are facing different scenarios, problems, threats all the time, and most of the time we do not know their origin.

As you suggested most of our arguments are futile as we try to focus on the problems themselves and we always try to find someone to blame — of course outside of ourselves.

Instead, what we should be focusing on is how we react to the problems, how we try to find solutions for them. And here there is one thing we would all need to accept, something that has actual meaning, bearing to our lives: we have evolved into a globally integrated, totally interdependent world we can’t escape from.

This determines, obligates our reactions, as in a global, integral world only positive, constructive, sustainable, global, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation can bring us true solutions instead of the self-destructive — individualistic, nationalistic, exclusively competitive — “solutions” we stubbornly try today.

Moreover, when we build those mutually integrated connections we also become at least partially similar to Nature’s integral system, and through that similarity, “matching frequency” we can also start to understand the origin of our problems, the cause and effect processes so we could even start preventing future problems.
