From terminal cancer to eternal life
Question from the Internet:
“How does the desire for power affect us, and what does this unchecked desire cause in human society?”
The desire for power and control arises from our inherently self-serving, self-justifying and individualistic nature.
This desire drives all of us, but the extent, the hunger of this desire, and the willingness to sacrifice everything for what we want differs. And this difference renders human society according to a pyramid model, with the most selfish and egoistic people at the peak, with the rest of the people – less selfish and egoistic although also selfish and egoistic – below them.
As we can see from historical experience and especially in today’s society, as this insatiable desire for power, control and more for ourselves has been growing constantly. And today it has reached such intensity, that is now literally consuming everything around us and us as well.
This so-far unchecked, egocentric, subjective and individualistic desire for power, control and excessive consumption makes us exist and behave like cancer. And this “human cancer” has reached terminal stage in our times. And it will completely finish us unless we recognize and accept this insatiable desire in us as our sole driving force, as when we have already recognized and “arrested” this self-destructive force of addiction in us, we can start to treat it and correct it.
We cannot suppress or erase this driving force in us, since this is all we have. But we can learn how to recognize, analyze, harness and channel this extremely powerful driving force.
Instead of instinctively and automatically serving and fulfilling ourselves, like addicts who keep serving their addiction until they overdose, we can learn how to use and channel this driving force towards positive, constructive and mutually beneficial goals and purpose. We can refine this to such an extent, where our insatiable desire to receive fulfillment serves others as much as or even more than it serves ourselves.
We can further develop and refine ourselves through a unique, purposeful and practical method in the right environment, until we build a state of “mutual guarantee” – resembling how nature’s integral living systems operate – where each individual selflessly and unconditionally serves only the others and the whole. As a result, each individuaal receives exactly what they need, how they need it, and this way each can endlessly fulfill their crucially important, irreplaceable, mutually complementing role for the whole system – just like how healthy cells operate in a healthy body.
As a result, by purposefull, consciously and methodically using our inherent desire, we can build a qualitatively much higher, collective human existence. We would also generate an unprecedented, collective Human consciousness as a result of this purposeful and conscious mutual integration.
And this collective Human consciousness and intellect will dwarf any notion of AI we can imagine. Moreover, it will also provide all of us with a new sense of existence, that is liberated from the original, inherently egocentric and subjective limitations of time, space and motion.
Thus the original, insatiable desire remains and constantly grows. But as a result of learning how to use it with different intentions and purpose, we turn a cancerous humanity into a species that can grow and develop to heights and abilities we cannot even dream about today!
