Finding the Creator
“Question: How do I come to the Creator, when in reality I do not have the desire?
Answer: For you, the Creator is the collective vessel of all souls to whom you bestow. It is written: “I dwell among My people.” When this vessel manifests fully, you reveal the Creator in it.
The Creator is not some separate entity that exists outside of your reaction to the collective Kli. He neither has a form nor an appearance; He does not have an entity outside of what you find in the collective vessel.
For you the Creator is the group. When you reveal the connection between the friends, then in this common connection you reveal the Creator (Boreh), which comes from the words “come and see” (Bo-Reh). He manifests in the form you are able to see.
But He does not exist until then. Right now you do not have the Creator because it is written that you must go by what you see. You must not imagine anything outside of the limits of actual perception. You will reveal the Creator when you reach universal interconnection. It is the actual vessel that becomes imbued with mutual bestowal. And the Light will be revealed in this vessel.
It is not an abstraction of some sort — the vessel will seem to vibrate from the desire to bestow. Its ‘trepidation’ is the Light, penetrating the universal interconnection. Everyone wants to bestow to others, everyone is connected with others, and this is why every part fulfills the other parts. This bestowal of one desire to another is called the Light.
Hence the Light in the Partzuf is the measures of the response in the desire. There is no Light without the vessel. The actual vessel becomes the Light when it begins to bestow. And the Creator is the commonality of bestowal, which becomes revealed inside the vessel, in the group.
Our entire work in the group brings us to the conditions that allow us to reveal and attain the Creator. I don’t go from the group to the Creator like from one room to another. The group is the vessel where I reveal everything: the upper Light (mutual bestowal) and the commonality of this Light, this bestowal, called the Creator.**”

The Human Purpose: To Reveal the One
Kabbalists — those who walked the hidden corridors of reality before us — proclaim that the ultimate purpose of life is nothing less than this: to reveal the Creator, to encounter the benevolent force that breathes life into existence, and to become its conscious partner.
But here is the paradox: He has no form, no image, no location. He exists only in the place where we forge connection. “I dwell among My people.” (Exodus)
Tuning to the Same Frequency
Revelation, the sages say, comes only by equivalence of form.
- A radio does not invent sound; it receives only when tuned to the correct frequency.
- We understand another only when we stand in their pain and joy.
- The taste of food cannot be read — it must be eaten.
So too with the Creator: He can be revealed only when we become similar to His qualities of love and bestowal.
“As He is merciful, so you shall be merciful.” (Rabash)
From Ego to Love
This demands transformation: from our default egoism to the Creator’s unconditional bestowal. The body itself testifies. Each organ and cell lives only for the body; if it lives for itself, it becomes cancer. Humanity today mirrors that pathology — self-serving, consuming, exploiting until the earth itself trembles.
But the sages remind us: this descent is not a flaw, but a stage in evolution. Only by first becoming opposite to the Creator can we awaken the hunger to be like Him.
“The advantage of the Light is from within the darkness.” (Baal HaSulam)
Faith Above Reason
The climb from ego to bestowal is called faith above reason. Not blind belief, but acting as if I already possessed the Creator’s intention of love, rising above the logic of self-interest.
This work repeats endlessly. Each time I rise, a deeper ego awakens, swallowing the light I attained. Yesterday’s faith becomes today’s reason. The Creator shows me a new depth of my nature, and again I must climb above it.
This cycle refines me, layer after layer, until my perception is washed clean and begins to reflect His view of reality.
“The work is to rise above reason, and this is called faith.” (Rabash)
The Group: The Place of Revelation
But one cannot rise alone. The Creator is revealed only in the group, in the bond of friends. Not in family, not in natural ties, for those remain bound to egoistic interests. Only among those souls assigned by Providence can I practice “Love your friend as yourself.”
Here, in this circle, I nullify myself. I place the desires of my friends above my own. I pledge to support, strengthen, and carry them. Passing through this filter, I shed the husk of self-love and step into the light of bestowal.
“The love of friends is built by deeds, not words.” (Rabash)
The Life-or-Death Aspiration
Such annulment is possible only when the goal of revealing the Creator burns like fire in the bones. It must become a life-or-death urgency. Alone I cannot ignite such fire. Only the mutual support of the group can awaken it.
“One who prays for his friend is answered first.” (Baal HaSulam)
The Final Secret
The Creator is not elsewhere. He is not in the distance. He does not wait behind some other door. He dwells here — in the trembling thread of love that ties us together.
When the vessel of unity vibrates with the desire to bestow, that trembling is the Light itself. The Creator is the commonality of bestowal revealed inside the group.
Then the word Boreh — Bo-Reh, come and see — ceases to be a phrase and becomes our lived reality.
