Expanding our perception of reality

Question from the Internet:

“Do we all see reality differently?”

Yes, we all see the world differently, since we all see the world from our own, inherently egocentric, subjective and individualistic point of view.

As a result, none of us can see the world “as it is”, since we filter and distort everything according to how we evaluate everything in regards to how they help our 100% self-serving and self-justifying “pleasure/pain” calculations. So when we look at other people, for example, we do not see them how they truly are, we see them how it fits our own agenda and self-justification.

This is why can’t truly see, feel others, we cannot achieve true empathy towards others and we can’t really agree on anything, unless our egocentric and subjective views agree temporarily.

We have the chance and ability to achieve a very different, truly objective and truthful point of view, but that requires a unique and willing self-transformation, when we agree to, learn and practice how to view, sense and experience reality through the desires and viewpoints of others while we forget and abandon our own set ideas, justifications and viewpoints.

This requires a special, purposeful and practical method and a uniquely and methodically organized and conducted human environment where all people commit and devote themselves to achieve this.

Through subduing and abandoning our own thoughts, desires and viewpoints in favour of the thoughts, desires and viewpoints of others, we gain a completely different, objective and perfect view of reality and ourselves. Moreover, through such a viewpoint we can also rise above the inherently egocentric and subjective restrictions of physical time and space, gaining a sense of existence that is unbounded and timeless.
