Evolution promotes diversity and integration together

Opinion from the Internet about diversity in society:

“Within a population, diversity is contrary to evolutionary forces, which evolutionary forces reject diversity and emphasizes conformity. Conflicts that inevitably occur within diverse populations are a consequence of those intrinsic tribal motivations. The challenges we face in dealing problems associated with diversity are very complicated and we don’t have the answers.”

I don’t know why you think that evolutionary forces are contrary to diversity — if I understood properly what you wrote.

Evolution highly respects diversity, diversity keeps growing through evolution. On the other hand the greater the diversity, the greater, more complex is the integration evolution is also promoting.

Just because our body acts as a single system which we perceive as a single being, it doesn’t mean that the vast diversity between the cells, organs plus the microbiome we live with would become less diverse, each element performing its own, unique action towards the whole, for the sake of the whole.

It is exactly the same kind of integration between the very diverse, unique, individual Human beings which can solve our global, integral problems and elevate Humanity to the next evolutionary level.

Thus the solution for societal problems arising from diversity is to learn how to integrate like Nature does, above the diversity, using individual uniqueness for the sake of the whole.
