Entering Spiritual Reality: A Journey Beyond the Ego
Entering spiritual reality is akin to venturing into a new galaxy. By default, we are born into and exist within a completely egocentric, subjective, and transient “Matrix” — a reality projected by the human ego. In this illusionary framework, we experience life through the constraints of time, space, and physical existence, from involuntary birth to involuntary death.
However, we are given both the opportunity and the obligation to transition beyond this Matrix into a perfect and infinite life experience. In doing so, we begin to perceive and attain reality as it truly is — governed by a single benevolent force that desires for us to comprehend its plan by becoming similar to it in qualities.
Preparing for a Different Reality
To enter this completely different world — spiritual reality, which is built upon and permeated by godly qualities of pure and unconditional love and bestowal — we must prepare ourselves in a controlled, closed environment. Just as astronauts train before venturing beyond the safety of a spaceship, we must adapt ourselves to seamlessly integrate into this new realm so that we are not rejected as foreign entities.
This transformation requires acquiring the same godly qualities of pure and unconditional love and bestowal that form the essence of spiritual reality. The challenge, however, is that our original nature is diametrically opposed to these qualities. We are inherently driven by a self-serving, self-justifying, and exploitative ego — an entity that behaves like a cancer within our perceived world.
This egoistic nature is entirely incompatible with existence in a realm governed by pure love and bestowal. Moreover, we cannot fully suppress or erase this desire for self-gratification, as it forms the very foundation of our existence. Instead, we must learn to clothe this ego in new, benevolent qualities, neutralizing its destructive tendencies and channeling its power into altruistic actions.
Acquiring New Qualities
Just as astronauts wear protective suits to explore new planets, we must “dress” ourselves in new godly qualities to safely enter spiritual reality. These qualities cannot be attained through our own effort but must be received from the spiritual realm itself. Only when we develop an overwhelming desire — one that surpasses all other ego-driven aspirations — can we transcend our current state.
This shift is not something we can achieve independently. The desire to escape the ego’s control and transition into a higher state must come from beyond our nature. First, we must attain an undeniable recognition of our inherently destructive, cancerous nature, leading to an intense yearning to break free from it.
Through the right practical method — when a group of mutually committed individuals begins to practice love and bestowal — they gradually expose the true nature of the ego. As they strive to prioritize others’ progress above their own, the ego intensifies its resistance, seeking to maintain control. However, by utilizing this resistance positively — through mutual support, constructive envy, and a shared desire for elevation — they push one another toward a common goal.
This effort gradually shifts their focus from transient worldly pleasures to the far more significant and enduring spiritual pleasures that can only be attained through similarity with the Creator. The group work and their commitment to each other become the most critical elements of their existence.
Beyond Egoistic Desire
Even though this initial pursuit of spiritual attainment remains egoistic — since they still seek fulfillment through love and bestowal — their collective yearning draws unique external assistance. As humans, we are inherently incapable of generating a truly selfless request; our very essence is egoistic. However, when this collective yearning becomes powerful enough — when they realize they cannot reach their goal on their own — this awakens special developmental forces that assist them.
These forces refine their yearning, aligning it with the pure and unconditional qualities of love and bestowal inherent in the spiritual dimension. The first response to their efforts is not immediate fulfillment but an even greater deficiency — a yearning so strong that it eclipses all remaining selfish inclinations. This intensified yearning provides the contrast necessary for them to sense, in a tangible way, what it means to exist beyond their ego.
This contrast is crucial. It allows them to objectively verify the transition from their natural egoistic state to one governed by love and bestowal. This new deficiency — one that is completely detached from personal gratification — becomes the foundation for their entry into spiritual reality.
New Perception, New Reality
With this transformation, they gain the ability to perceive and experience reality not through their own subjective lens but through the desires and viewpoints of others. This shift enables them to draw nature’s life-giving force, not for themselves, but to fulfill the needs of others.
In spiritual reality, desires remain the driving force of existence, but fulfillment is no longer self-directed. Instead, pleasure comes from serving others, from attaining greater similarity to the Creator, and from justifying the singular governing force of reality. Even in this pleasure, however, they must be cautious. If they begin to take pride in their achievements or derive self-satisfaction from their spiritual progress, the ego can once again take control.
Thus, they live in a state of constant “spiritual fear” — the fear that their inherent ego may resurface and corrupt their selfless intentions. This fear keeps them vigilant, ensuring that they sustain their purely altruistic state.
A New Collective Consciousness
As they progress, they establish a unique, interconnected existence — one that transcends individual limitations and creates a shared perception of reality. This collective consciousness elevates their experience beyond the physical constraints of time, space, and motion, allowing them to live in a realm of boundless spiritual connection and fulfillment.
In the end, entering spiritual reality is not merely about attaining a new state of being — it is about integrating into a completely new system of existence, where life is no longer centered on self-interest but on an endless flow of love and bestowal. This is the ultimate transformation, the true entrance into an infinite and perfect reality.
