Either we all survive or we all perish — together!
An opinion from the Internet on developing mutual connections, collective purpose in Humanity:
“ARE YOU FOR REAL? DO YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO BUY THIS BS…NO OFFENSE BUT THE WORLD HAS BECOME A TRULY NEGATIVE & TOXIC ENVIRONMENT. WE AS INDIVIDUALS NEED TO STAND IN & ON OUR OWN BELIEFS & NOT DEPEND ON OTHER MERE HUMANS TO MAKE US HAPPY & BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS WORTH THE HARD WORK OF LIVING TO MAKE OUR OWN LIFE MEANINGFUL. JUST MY OPINION.”
I don’t expect you to buy anything.
I just try to explain that our problem is that while we love in a global, fully integrated world - which Nature forces on us thus we can’t escape it - our main problem is that we can’t connect, we can’t trust each other, and we try succeeding, surviving at each other’s expense.
This is exactly why we live in a toxic environment as we all follow our inherent instincts, constantly justifying why we distrust and hate others based on any excuse we find.
If people like this and want to continue living like now, deepening the social breakdown, riots, destructive behavior until we slide into a total socio-economic collapse, and another world war, that’s their free choice.
On the other hand there is a solution, we can actually learn how to build connections and cooperation above the instinctive self-justification, distrust and hate of others - which negative emotions won’t disappear.
I am not talking about a “Hollywood-like” scenario, former enemies becoming friends riding into the sunset.
I am talking about a purposeful, highly practical method that can help enemies - who remain enemies - to work together, live side by side in order to facilitate their collective survival.
Living in a global, integral world is like serving on a common ship on a stormy see. We either sail and survive together, or we all sink and drown. This is our choice.
