Earth has “unlimited” resources, if we learn to use only what we truly need!
Question from the Internet:
“Why is earth designed to have limited resources? Why can’t we just have enough for everybody and everyone lives comfortably?”
I apologise but I have to disagree with you. Earth has “unlimited” resources.
How can we measure it?
“Limited” means that we don’t have enough for what we need, while “unlimited” means that we have more than what we need.
At the moment we seem to have “limited resources” because we want more - much more - than what we need. Our Human system, lifestyle is based on completely unnatural, excessive overconsumption. Our individual, national, global footprint is vastly beyond what Human beings need for a healthy, comfortable, modern life.
We produce and consume goods, services we actually don’t need, can’t afford, and we mostly throw away shortly after obtaining them. We think life is a about constant, unlimited, quantitative growth. We act and live like cancer, destroying both ourselves and the Natural environment in the process.
If Humanity understood the strict, unbreakable laws of Nature that sustain the balance and homeostasis life depends on, if we could adjust our lifestyle to stay within the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources, even 20 billion people or more could happily, comfortably live on Earth without depleting, destroying Nature’s reserve, balance (although as research suggests Human population will naturally start declining shortly, even without wars, natural catastrophes due to changing lifestyle).
If Humanity consciously, methodically established integration, balance within itself and with Nature, Earth would turn to a “real-life” Garden of Eden for us. The Natural system is “designed” that way, everything depends on us, how much we adapt ourselves to Nature!
