Dystopia or Utopia?!
Question from the Internet:
“What are your arguments for a future utopia or dystopia?”
This is actually the first time in human history that we can make a conscious choice between the two.
We can already see that if we continue blindly, instinctively - similarly to the recurring historical vicious cycles before - driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, individualistic and exploitative nature, then very soon our reality will surpass even the most shocking dystopian Hollywood movies in the scope of suffering, destruction without the happy ending.
On the other hand we could consciously, proactively build a human society which would look like utopia from our present viewpoint — although actually it is a very realistic, tangible, natural state.
If we rebuilt human connections, human society on “nature-like", selfless, altruistic, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconections, cooperation, then we could rise to a qualitatively much higher, collective human existence.
We would justify our expectations of being the peak of natural evolution on there merit of achieving this natural integration through our free choice, by our own efforts, above and against our original nature.
