Does Humanity deserve to survive?!

“Would the Earth and its billions of life forms be better off without humanity? Does humanity deserve to survive? If COP26 is any indication I’d say no. What do you think?”

I agree with your feelings regarding COP26 — and regarding all the other circus going on around the mounting global problems — completely.

But in order to understand the answer to your question, we also need to consider and accept that we did not fall on Earth from the sky, or from another planet.

Human beings are born from Nature’s system, our biology, and our “inner program”, consciousness, perception is also something Nature’s evolution installed in us. Moreover, we also know that there is nothing obsolete, accidental in Nature.

So, it is true that human beings are inherently selfish, egocentric, subjective, and exploitative, it is true that we recklessly overconsume, accumulate all the resources and everything we can put our hands on for selfish benefit, it is true that we succeed and survive at each other’s and Nature’s expense and in general behave like cancer. But at the end of the day, we were “created”, “programmed” to be like this by Nature.

We are neither evil nor sinful, there must be an evolutionary reason why humans behave this way and there must be a Natural resolution to this.

And there is.

Humanity has a very unique role, purpose in Nature’s perfectly balanced and harmonious — but blind and instinctive — system. We are supposed to become Nature’s only conscious, on one hand, integrated, on the other hand independent, objective observers and partners.

In order to reach this unique evolutionary Human role, we had to be born opposite to, different, and outsiders to Nature’s integrated system. Without this opposition, instinctively outsider viewpoint we would never have the chance to look at Nature independently, we would never have the chance for free choice, and to become conscious observers of the system.

On the other hand, we can’t observe, understand Nature while we remain opposed to it, we remain outside of the system’s integration, balance. Thus Nature’s evolution also gave us a unique Human intellect, capable of critical self-assessment, an ability to initiate self-change, self-upgrade, to take our development consciously into our own hands.

Until now we never used this unique Human intellect, we have always been developing, moving forward blindly, instinctively like other animals, but in our case we have been developing, progressing against Nature, and at the end of the day, against ourselves, reaching today’s dead-end, near self-destruction state.

With our historical experience and with the overwhelming evidence of our total inability to solve problems in a globally interdependent world, we reached a special, and fateful turning point in human evolution.

Either we start using our unique Human abilities and start consciously, proactively adapting ourselves to Nature’s system, accepting and following the strict laws sustaining the balance and homeostasis life depends on, or the continuing blows, intolerable suffering will force us to accept and fulfill the role, purpose evolution predetermined for us.

Our free choice concerns only the manner we reach our role, the rest is not up to us. If at least a critical minority ( about 15–20% of the population) starts consciously, purposefully, methodically change themselves according to Nature’s integral blueprint (instead of changing, blaming, coercing others to change according to their egocentric, subjective viewpoint), these pioneers will be able to pull the rest of humanity (softened, threatened by the increasing crisis, Natural catastrophes, socioeconomic collapses, and wars) behind them towards safety and a very different, collective, Nature-like Human existence.

By agreeing to change ourselves in order to find compatibility with the rest of Nature and to become Nature’s objective, integrated but independent observers and partners, we also draw positive, assisting forces from evolution that is “waiting for us” to agree to its plan and follow it. This conscious agreement — above and against our inherent nature — is our Human free choice in existence.

Thus we do not need to pay attention to the circus we are surrounded with, those we see in the news, we read about are hapless actors, acting blindly, instinctively and we can not expect anything positive from them as they are not even aware of their own nature, actions. If we want changes, we have to start — changing ourselves first and then through the positive example motivate others to change.
