Do we know what it is that we do not know?

“What do we know about what we don’t know?”

This is the problem. We do not know what we do not know. If we knew what we did not know, we would already be searching for the knowledge to fill the gap.

Actually, most of the time, we think we know everything. Although many, if not all, people agree that our perception of reality is 100% egocentric and subjective, when it comes to arguments, debates, scientific discussions and studies, we are all convinced that we are right, that we know the objective truth.

So we could say that we know that our consciousness and perception are inevitably limited by our inherently egocentric, subjective and individualistic nature — which significantly limits the scope of our perception and understanding; we still claim that we “know the truth” and our personal or even collective opinion is unquestionable.

In order to know what we do not know and, as a result, acquire the missing knowledge and attainment, first, we have to develop a unique, truly selfless and objective viewpoint and ability of perception and “computing”. In contrast to our original consciousness and perception, we need to acquire a consciousness and perception that is independent of our “self”, when we can view, study and attain reality outside and beyond any self-interest, self-service, self-justification, beyond any reward or punishment.

And while it might sound fantastical or mystical, we can actually and realistically develop such a viewpoint and consciousness. There exists a unique, purposeful and practical method that can teach us and guide us to exit our inherently limited and distorted egocentric and subjective bubbles.

We can liberate our observer through the desires, needs and viewpoints of other people in special closed, methodically built and conducted groups. And when we acquire the new consciousness and perception in these groups, then we can already apply our new outlook to the whole reality.

Then we can measure how much we do not know and acquire the missing knowledge and emotional impressions as a result.
