Do we know the root cause of human suffering?

Question from the Internet:

“Will solutions for every source of human suffering eventually be found?”

We already know the single root cause of every human problem and suffering, both historical and contemporary.

This single root cause is the same, inherently selfish, egocentric, subjective and exploitative nature that drives all of us. Of course, we do not really want to hear it, acknowledge this, especially since admitting that the problem is within us would force us to change ourselves.

And it is much more convenient to insist on changing, correcting, censoring, destroying others and manipulating the world around us. But while this is more convenient, it is also ineffective and futile.

The only true solution for humanity — the solution that can prevent the seemingly inevitable global meltdown we are approaching on multiple fronts — is for each and every human being to change, further developing oneself until we become able to build the Nature-like mutually responsible, mutually complementing integration, cooperation that is the key for our global problem-solving and continuing collective survival.
