Question from the Internet:

“Do people who seek world peace also seek control?”

In our present state, driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, and individualistic egos, we seek only what gives us control over others.

Knowingly or unknowingly, we all try to assert control over others to manipulate and exploit everything and everybody we can. This is how we are born. So it does not matter what beautiful speeches people make, what great and inspiring promises they make. At the end of the day, whatever we do, it is only for our own sake, at the expense of others.

True world peace will come only when we learn how to control and subdue our own egos and when we start selflessly and unconditionally integrating with and serving others. The only thing in the way of true peace is our own inherent nature, nothing and nobody else.
