Divide and conquer is the basis of human society

Question from the Internet:

“Do leaders “divide to conquer” and “keep divided to keep conquered” through “comprehensive deprivation” as Buckminster Fuller said?”

Yes, this policy has been successfully applied at all parts and levels of life. This is how we are controlled in our nations, internationally but even at our workplaces and everywhere else.

On the other hand, they do not need to force “divide and conquer” on us, since the division, ruthless competition, humiliation, manipulation, and destruction of others suit our inherent nature.

We can see through historical examples how much societies, ideologies, and human systems that are based on individuality, exclusive competition, and success at the expense of others thrive to a certain point where society self-consumes. At the same time, ideologies and human systems that are based on mutual integration and the selfless, mutually complementing complementation of individuals fail much sooner since they are against our inherent nature.

Now we have reached a certain saturation and threshold in the globally integrated and interdependent world, beyond which “divide and conquer” and ruthless competition inevitably drives us to a global meltdown, which is now awaiting just around the corner.

Thus, against and above our nature, we have to learn — willingly and consciously until we realize that it is in our best interest — how to co-exist and cooperate for the benefit and sake of the whole collective.

This literally life-saving transition is the task of our generation.
