Diversity is life
Question from the Internet:
“Is diversity a good thing? What are the pros and cons?”
I think we should stop evaluating things according to what “good or bad” is according to our inherently egocentric, subjective perception, consciousness.
Diversity is “neither good nor bad”, diversity is part of life, it is life itself. We see diversity all around us in Nature, life is based on the seamless, mutually complementing interconnection, the interaction between vastly diverse, seemingly incompatible parts elements.
We can observe this even in our own biological bodies.
The problem with human beings is that due to our instinctively self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and individualistic nature we want to cancel the diversity we see around us, we want to cancel anything that is dissimilar to us, everything we cannot understand as the ego wants to rile unchallenged.
Thus by default, we act like cancer, destroying everything and everybody.
We need to learn how to accept diversity, how to make our diversity work by building conscious, purposeful mutually responsible, and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation above and against our instincts.
By that, we would create a qualitatively much higher, unlimited, “truly Human” life, existence for all of us, an existence we share all together.
