Covid-19 will guide us towards collective Human survival

Question from the Internet:

“Has COVID-19 changed the way we live our lives? Can the world survive?”

Actually I think it will eventually be the Covid pandemic which will guide us towards survival!

In a relatively gentle way - compared to world wars, much harsher, deadlier plagues, natural catastrophes - the pandemic stopped us in our way towards guaranteed self-destruction.

It made us rethink our social, economic, giving systems, put us into a forced rehab removing most of the excess production/consumption that has long been ailing us and Nature.

And despite our stubborn hopes, as a result of the evolving crisis - the virus only highlighted, hastened but didn’t cause - we won’t be able to return to the previous, self-destructive life-form.

Having no other choice we are now obliged to learn what it means to live in a globally integrated, interdependent world. And if we still refuse to learn the lessons of the crisis, we will have to endure further, increasingly severe waves of the virus infection or similar natural blows.

We won’t be able to let go of quarantines, restrictions until we finally accept and learn, that in Nature’s finely balanced interconnected system - we are also integral parts of - we can only solve problems and survive, if we align ourselves with Nature’s laws sustaining the balance and homeostasis life depends on.

This means a mutually integrated Humanity built on mutually responsible, mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation, while scaling life back to the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
