Covid-19: Should we return to ‘normal’, or embark on an unprecedented journey towards Human purpose?

As the lockdown bites, and we all fear for our jobs, previous lifestyle, the demand to return to ‘normal’ increases. Still when we consider what to do after the lockdown, what kind of life we should continue with I think the key question is what we consider ‘normal’?!

I fully understand that changes are uncomfortable, we would rather continue with something “bad” we got used to than to change to some unknown even if it promises to be better but we do not have certainty, a guarantee for that.

I think we all know that our old/present socio-economic system is not ‘normal’ at all. It is based on reckless, excessive overconsumption, exploiting natural and human resources. We live in a “cancer-like” bubble within nature’s system, a bubble that is harmful to both the Human beings inside the bubble and to the natural environment around it.

We are all drowning in debt — both individually and nationally — while we hope to pay back those debts with even greater debts.

We have enough historic experience to know that the bubble will burst sooner or later and the crisis in 2008 was simply a gentle warning to the real explosion that can occur any time as it happened before in history each time a self-serving, self-justifying, egotistic civilization has exhausted itself.

The problem is that we do not know, see where we could go from here?! After all, we have no better ideology, a system in our database than liberal, parliamentary democracy, and free-market capitalism. Although the sentiment to try other options like socialism, communism, Nazism is awakening, we already know where those lead to.

Thus even if know, feel we need to change we have no idea how and where to. There is nothing in our Human experience, in our inherent, instinctively egotistic, self-serving, self-justifying, subjective program we could use, lean on. We are really “stuck between the rock and the hard place”!

Humanity is ahead of a revolutionary change, ahead of a true “rebirth”, before the last, this time conscious phase of Human evolution!

Nature’s evolutionary plan — that drives the whole natural system towards complete, seamless integration with selfless, mutually responsible and mutually complementing connection, cooperation among its vastly diverse, seemingly incompatible elements — is forcing us to build a new Human system above and against our original program (which we also received from Nature).

We need to do this revolutionary change, shift by using Nature’s own template with the help of a unique, purposeful and practical educational method. Such a method — that can draw people willingly, through free choice without coercion or misleading brainwashing — can give is the know-how, but also immediate, positive, reassuring emotional impressions that can facilitate the transition even if we do not see, know where we are heading according to our original program.

If we create small, mutually supportive and mutually complementing environments that study, use the above method together, then we can collectively help, pull each other through the initially cloudy, eerie transitional phase while leaving behind the ever faster sinking previous “common boat, system/paradigm”. Then as a result of the method nature’s evolution can “install the necessary upgrade” into our initially raw, unfinished operating software, making us compatible with the rest of the perfect, harmonious system.

But this conscious, proactive upgrade gives us our unparalleled Human advantage. Even after integrating with each other and thus integrating with Nature, we won’t simply disappear into the system like mindless cogwheels as all other parts, elements of Nature. Due to the contrast, duality acquired by this we will retain full awareness of our situations. As a result, we will become the only conscious, thinking part, “mind” of the whole, perfect system, sensing, researching, attaining it from within.

Thus knowing this perhaps we won’t want to blindly, instinctively run back to the old ‘normal’, but there will be those who are ready to embark on a new journey towards our evolutionary Human purpose?
