Covid-19, a unique milestone in Human development

Not fully Human yet

I believe that the Covid-19 pandemic will finally kickstart our development towards becoming “truly Human beings”.

Our development, history so far has been a blind, instinctive affair, following our inherently self-centered, self-serving, self-protective, individualistic nature, while recklessly exploiting each other and Nature without any actual overall meaning, purpose.

We haven’t activated our true, Human potential. “Human” based on its Hebrew translation, “Adam” comes from the expression “similar”. A “truly Human being” is one that consciously acquires similarity with its “Creator” — Nature’s perfect, life-giving system by clothing into nature’s “godly qualities” of selfless, unconditional, altruistic service and love of others.

Without such “godly qualities” — Nature’s elements and its all-encompassing evolutionary force operates by, there would not be an optimal mutual guarantee within its network, and the crucially important balance, homeostasis without which life is not possible would fail.

Starting a new, conscious phase of Human development

The Covid-19 pandemic proved to us on one hand that we are inevitably locked into a fully integrated and interdependent world, on the other hand with our inherent nature — egoism, individualism, success, survival at the expense of others — we will not be able to solve our problems and we will not survive.

This explosive paradox will finally ignite our unique Human intellect — capable of critical self-assessment — and the ensuing stark contrast between our actual, self-destructive state and the desired, fully integrated, mutually responsible state will activate a so far dormant, Natural program, aspiration in us that attracts us towards mutual integration and through towards integration and similarity with Nature.

We can fully activate and learn to use this so far hidden, Natural program in us in unique, purposeful and methodical environments, where we can use this program to balance and then control our otherwise irrepressible original, egotistic nature.

Then while through the new, mutually operated Natural program, we reach our truly Human state — similarity with Nature’s system, while we can fully verify it, sense it realistically, tangibly against the original, egotistic nature that does not disappear but provides the useful contrast, background for comparative research.

Thus we will remember Covid-19 as a crucial milestone in Human development, the transition between a blind, instinctive “humanoid” development and the new, fully conscious, truly Human phase of our evolution.
