Question from the Internet:
“What can you do to change the world? How?”
I can change the world only by changing myself. This is true in multiple ways.
First of all, the world I see, feel is how I perceive it through my own qualities. Since our perception of reality is subjective, distorted by my own senses and how I decode and compute what I perceive, I do not see the world “as it is” but I see my own version of it.
Thus by changing my own qualities, by changing how I relate to the world, I change the world I feel, perceive.
Moreover — looking at it from a different angle — we exist in a fully integrated and interdependent world, where each of us acts as a single cell towards a single, living Human superorganism. Thus as long as I live instinctively, according to my original, “cancer-like”, selfish, subjective, exploitative nature, I cause harm to everybody, to the whole system since I am interconnected, interdependent with the whole system. The moment I change my attitude, my relationship towards others, towards the system and start influencing them in a positive, mutually responsible, mutually complementing way I exert a positive influence on the system, changing it in the right direction.
Thus everything depends on me changing myself.
