Changing history ahead

Question from the Internet:

“Some maintain that gaining knowledge of the past has little relevance for those living in the present. Do you agree with this perspective or not? Please support your responses with examples and reasons.”

History’s helplessly recurring vicious cycles would support that argument. How desperately we keep trying the same, already failed methods fulfills Einstein’s definition of insanity - trying the same things again and again while expecting different results.

But it is not so simple.

It is one thing seeing, knowing the mistakes, crimes of the past and it is another thing whether we want to change, or if we are actually capable of changing.

And since all our failures, disasters, recurring crisis situations in the past and present are caused by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, individualistic and exploitative nature, we can see the problem.

We would need to change ourselves which is the last thing we want to do. Moreover we would need to change ourselves with the same nature, program that is causing all the problems. In other words we would need to lift ourselves by pulling out own hair - which is obviously impossible.

So we are stuck like an old record that keeps playing the same tune, or like a movie we are watching with a bad, very sad ending, but we can’t stop or change the script.

Right now we are copying, repeating the events, tragic actions of the 1930s, 1940s helplessly watching a Great Depression 2.0, and 3rd World War unfold in our generation on a global scale.

Fortunately there is a unique, purposeful and highly practical educational method that could help us change, upgrade ourselves by “harnessing” Nature’s force of evolution, using its relentlessly acting drive to adapt us to its balanced system and “circle of life”.

After that Natural adaptation we will be able to rebuild Human society on Nature’s fully integrated, mutually complementing template, avoiding further vicious cycles by neutralizing the negative instincts, inclinations in ourselves. Moreover we will be able to harness, channel the incredible raw forces in us through this newly learned balance.
