Change of values
A question from the Internet:
“What fundamental values should guide the development of artificial intelligence?”
The same fundamental values that should guide everything else we are doing.
At the moment, based on our inherent nature, the values that govern and guide everything that individuals and humanity, in general, are doing are 100% self-serving, self-justifying, and exploitative egoism, where everybody strives and succeeds at the expense of others through ruthless and exclusive competition and actual wars.
Whatever we invent and develop is used solely to control, manipulate, exploit, and destroy others.
Our inherent “values” make us exist and behave like cancer.
And the more “evolved” and technologically developed we are, the more destructive and self-destructive we become.
The values we need to learn to replace our original “values” and aspirations with are the inherent values in nature: selfless and unconditional mutual integration and mutually complementing cooperation, existing and acting only for the sake and well-being of the collective and the whole natural system.
When human beings also learn and practice how to exist and behave like healthy cells in a single, fully integrated living organism — above and against our inherent nature, we cannot and must not suppress or erase — then we will be able to use all our technology, even AI for the benefit of everybody and for the benefit of the whole natural system.
We will be able to feel and understand the whole natural system as “insiders” through the similarity of form and qualities we achieve through our “nature-like” mutual integration.
This is the next evolutionary stage in humanity’s development according to nature’s laws and evolution’s deterministic plan.
