Can we use our talents to save the world?
Question from the Internet:
“Can we stand a chance to save the world with our talents?”
Yes, we can truly change and save the world with our talents — but only when we do so together.
Even in our usual lives, we see on so many levels how mutually complementing cooperation we become successful, much more than when we try doing things alone.
We can see it in sports teams, in military commandos, in governance, or in the operating room in the hospital. When people combine their talents, and each contributes with their unique skills and abilities to the whole, following a single goal, only good things come out — especially if that goal is also positive and constructive.
And now, when we realize that we have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world where all the problems we are saving are global, only this teamwork, this selfless and committed, mutually responsible and mutually complementing combination, can offer problem-solving ability and a chance for survival.
Humanity has the skillset and range of abilities — not to mention our technology — to make this Earth a real-life “Garden of Eden” instead of the real-life “Hell” we are suffering in now.
But it will work only when we all learn to use everything we have only for the sake of others, for the sake of the whole collective and the whole Natural system — above and against our instinctively egocentric and subjective calculations and intentions.
