Question from the Internet:
“What impact would the ability to live indefinitely have on society, and how would individuals and institutions adapt to this radical change?”
Fortunately, this will happen the other way around. We will need to adapt ourselves and our societies to a unique system first, and as a result, we will acquire a completely new and improved consciousness and perception of reality which will give us a true sense of “eternal” existence.
Our sense of physical life and death, our coordinates of time and space, are the result of our very limited and distorted, inherently egocentric and subjective perception of reality.
As long as our consciousness is “locked” into our personal egos, as long as we experience everything in life through individual pleasures and suffering, we cannot escape this seemingly “real” feeling of living in a biological body that inevitably has a certain lifespan, after which it expires and decomposes.
Our actual consciousness, the ‘self” we identify ourselves with, is not physical, and it is also not tied to this biological body we feel with our 5 senses. And we have the ability to “free” our “self,” our “Human observer” from the prison of this physical “Matrix” that is created by the selfish and subjective ego — while we still seemingly live in this biological body in this world.
We can create human relationships and a human society where willing, mutually committed, and mutually supportive people pledge to learn and practice “living through each other,” where each exists and works only for the sake of the others in a totally selfless and unconditional way. Then, our “self,” the “Human observer” in us, can go through this “filter” of other people we serve and love, and then through this filter, we enter a tangible and realistic collective consciousness and composite perception of reality — where each sense and observe reality through the desires and viewpoints of others — that is independent of time and space.
Thus it is rearranging and rebuilding our human interconnections and society according to a unique method — based on the most fundamental laws of Nature — that can bring us the ability to live indefinitely. This will open for us a completely new, non-physical dimension of reality which will dwarf and completely supersede our present physical experience, and when our biological body disappears, we will not feel any loss or remorse as we do not associate our “self” and actual existence with the biological body and this physical world any longer.
