Can the US avoid a civil war?!
Question from the US (Las Vegas) about the scary state America finds itself in today:
“Has our nation changed drastically in a few months?”
I think the changes have been brewing for much longer.
Some try to blame Trump for the decline but it is silly and short-sighted. Most of the problems America is struggling with now, have been present for decades, but now they reached a breaking point regardless of who the President is, which party rules.
The United States represents the peak of Humanity’s egotistic development, a country which was established on purely catering for our insatiable desire for selfish profit, fulfillment, leading to reckless overconsumption and ruthless, exclusive competition, success, survival at the expense of others.
You live in Las Vegas, so I don’t need to explain this to you.
And as - especially since the Cold War - the US has become the sole superpower, leader in the world, coveting, chasing the American Dream has become the primary goal for everybody.
But the American Dream presumes that we live in a world with unlimited resources and that Human beings can do whatever they want and only the sky is the limit.
As we now started realizing this is not true. Resources are not unlimited, and since we are all integral parts of Nature’s system - that is built on unchanging, strict laws that sustain the balance and homeostasis life depends on - we can’t do whatever we like.
As we have crossed the threshold where Nature’s system can’t cope with Humanity’s reckless overconsumption, pollution, destructive activity any longer, the Natural state “started to punish us”, collapsing the artificial Human system that threatens the planet with different blows, like the pandemic for example.
In truth there is no such thing as “Nature punishing us”, since we punish ourselves as we ignore, continually break Nature’s laws, so whatever we built, stubbornly force is now collapsing as it has no right to exist. We are like a witless person wanting to jump off a high building believing that the law of gravity doesn’t apply to him, so he can jump with impunity…
This shows most sharply, obviously in America - being at the forefront of the reckless, egotistic, destructive activity on all levels. And since the US is missing the usual national, cultural foundations, unity other nations have, without the American Dream, without the profit churning machinery working as before the American people have nothing to hold onto.
As a result the instinctive distrust, hate we all have towards others is now erupting, threatening with a very real, bloody civil war.
And it doesn’t matter who wins the next elections since this hate and the process has nothing to do with politics, personalities, it is a war between the inherently selfish, egotistic Human nature and Nature’s laws of integration.
If the American people want to avoid this threatening scenario, they would need to rebuild their nation on completely new foundations.
Instead of the business and profit interest they have to become a true melting pot, showing a positive example to other nations how unity, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation is possible above vast differences, diversity and despite the instinctive distrust, animosity, none of which will disappear or can be suppressed.
Most importantly this has nothing to do with partisanship, political agendas, dogmas, religion or philosophy. Americans and everybody else are obliged to develop towards mutual integration, and sensing life through positive Human connections according to Nature’s laws and evolution’s direction.
Our only choice in the matter is whether we adjust to the Natural laws as a result of intolerable suffering or proactively, wisely, methodically.
