Building new Foundations

Question from the Internet:

Are we looking ahead at a full decade of chaos?

I do not know if you ever read Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” books. Now we can consider those books “prophetic”.

Placed into the far future the protagonist of the books — a “psychohistorian” scientist who can precisely predict future events for a large enough Human population using mathematical models — describes the imminent collapse of the “Galactic Empire”, although that empire — encompassing large parts of the known galaxy — still looks at the peak of its power.

But — similarly to our present, mostly Western-dominated Human civilization — irreversible processes were already unfolding heralding the inevitable, almost immediate collapse.

Our present system is collapsing as it is based on a completely unnatural, unsustainable, excessive overconsumption and ruthless, exclusive competition, where each individual and nation is succeeding and surviving at each other’s expense. This system is totally incompatible with Nature’s integral and interdependent system that is governed by strict, unforgiving laws that sustain the balance and homeostasis life depends on.

In Asimov’s books, the protagonist suggests the establishment of unique “foundations” through which the predictable millennia long chaos, destruction could be shortened and controlled within a much shorter time period, leading to the purposeful, methodical building of a new, better, more sustainable civilization.

The solution is the same for us as well.

Our self-destruction based on our present paradigm is inevitable, and very likely it will come within this generation. And without special interventions, the chaos, self-destruction — through possible nuclear wars, devastating natural catastrophes — can wipe the Human race out. There might be only a handful of people remaining to pick up the pieces.

But while the present Human system falls apart we can already start building a very different, “Nature-like”, mutually responsible, mutually complementing Human society that is based on purposefully and methodically built Human interconnections above and against the inherently “cancer-like”, egotistic, exploitative, hateful Human nature.

This life-saving rebuilding can unfold in small “foundations” — specifically organized, conducted, educational environments, that use a special method that follows Nature’s integral template and the laws that sustain balance and homeostasis.
