Balancing Human Well-Being and Economy — the Natural Way

Too early to draw conclusions about the pandemic yet

People are asking, which lessons should be learned in how to deal with the coronavirus to keep people safe without destroying the economy, and which nations or states have achieved the best balance?

I do not think it is possible to judge which nations are succeeding in balancing safety and economy yet, as in most countries the lockdown is only lifted now in a gradual manner. So the full impact won’t be known for a while. At the same time many suspects a more serious, second wave of infections from a different, mutated form of the virus based on earlier examples.

Thus we are not in a position to draw conclusions yet.

But the “best balance” is extremely important!

An already collapsing Human system

When we say “destroying the economy” what do we actually mean by that? When we say “keep people safe” what do we mean?

Was the economy in a healthy robust state before the pandemic, were we safe before?!

After all at least since the 2008 financial crisis the global economy has been on life support, especially in the developed, Western countries. In general, people were getting more and more frustrated, depressed, empty and hopeless about the future, even the best Health Systems started to collapse due to greed, overmanagement, and underfinancing, and the growing suicide rates, substance abuse, mental health issues, and dementia have become true epidemics.

The war trumpets all around the world started to sound louder and louder, provocations, mutual taunting, geopolitical hotspots, and proxy-wars heating up, threatening with another World War as fitting for a declining civilization based on historic example.

We need to redefine our socio-economic system based on Nature’s template

Covid-19 made us a favor by pulling the plug from the life-support under our unsustainable economic, governing system built on excessive overconsumption, exploitation of each other and Nature, success, survival at each other’s expense.

The economy we need to save is the part that caters to the basic, normal, Human, natural necessities within the parameters of available Natural and Human resources.

The rest of the energy, the focus needs to be directed at building positive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing Human connections, cooperation within each nation and in between nations. And we have to methodically learn how to do this above the inherently selfish, individualistic Human ego that cannot be suppressed or erased (as we also know from history).

Only through such a positive Human network can we become compatible with Nature’s integral system we are still integral parts of. And only through compatibility with Nature, aligning ourselves with its evolutionary plan that relentlessly progresses towards the most optimal integration of its cosmic system can we acquire the ability to solve our problems and prevent new ones.

The solution is education

Thus our survival depends on the appropriate, purposeful, and highly practical educational method which can draw people towards this unprecedented self-upgrade through positive motivation, people joining willingly without any coercion, misleading propaganda, fully understanding that this self-change is in their own favor, for safeguarding our collective Human survival and positive development.
