Awakening in order to take control over our lives

An opinion from the Internet about Human beings awakening as a result of the crisis and asserting control over their lives:

“I’ve never been an eco-alarmist. Nature has its cycles and we are designed to adapt to them from the programming of our DNA. The future, one can only speculate upon but human nature remains as it has from the beginning and it always will. People that are evolved are not accepted, nor likely to breed and flourish.

The cosmos, look at the scale of it, we are an insignificant speck, we really don’t create any noticeable change to it.”

I did not mean to be an “eco-alarmist” by saying that Nature is pushing us towards changes.

As you said we are but a speck in the Universe. Whether we can exert any control or not is debatable and it requires deeper examination.

But right now — as you said — we have absolutely no control over what happens. This is exactly what I meant.

Those who “lead” the world — more precisely believe they are leading — are simply puppets, controlled by their instincts, hormonal reactions as anybody else. But none of them has any true control as we can now observe day to day as Nature started to pressure us.

I do not mean Nature as the trees and animals around us, but I mean the Natural reality we exist in. And I do not mean it as if it had “Human-like” qualities, reactions, emotions. This system is lawful, based on unbending Natural laws that keep balance and homeostasis.

So when we say that “Nature is pressing, punishing us” what it actually means that we punish ourselves by going against Nature’s laws, breaking them as our excessively consuming, ruthlessly competing Human system is incompatible with Nature.

You could say, how can we punish ourselves when I said we have no free choice?! And you would be right. Up to this point, we had no free choice, we simply played out our passive roles.

But we have a very special Human mind that is capable of critical self-assessment, that can even initiate self-changes. And now, that even the “American Dream” turned into a nightmare and the whole world is heading towards self-destruction as a result of the deepening global crisis affecting everything we do, finally we can have to wake up from our original instinctive, passive state and use our free choice.

This is not going to happen by those at the top, as they are too much invested into their games, positions, illusions. But those who are a bit further away from “the top” can awaken and start changing, upgrading themselves to become more adapted, compatible with Nature’s system, by harmonizing their connections with each other.

This is neither communism nor any other “ism” or philosophy. It is following Nature’s laws purposefully and methodically against our inherent program.

This is when we can start to acquire influence even over the Universe, but as I mentioned that is another story…
