At the crossroads of “reward or punishment” for Humanity

“What are the main criticism of society as it is today?”
The main criticism of today’s society - especially Western society - that it is built on, for the egotistic, individualistic “self” which is given free reign to succeed, survive at the expense of others while completely destroying, depleting Nature.
Of course we have to be careful with criticism. After all we have been building increasingly selfish, narcissistic societies as a result of our “inbuilt” program which was installed in us by Nature’s evolution.
Human beings behaving, acting selfishly, in ruthless, exclusive competition against each other and Nature is not our fault, we are not evil or sinful, we were born like this.
Thus our free choice, the “blame” starts only when we finally recognized that our inherent nature, program is self-destructive like cancer, and we also have a way, a method to change our program, to build society differently. Specifically for this free choice, to have the ability to complete our own development by our own efforts were we given the original egotistic nature by evolution.
And this free choice appeared in our generation, when the egotistic Human development, our “cancer-like”, excessively consuming, self-destructive system have screeched to a halt. And we also have the necessary, purposeful and highly practical method open, available to anybody who feels ready for the fundamental, unprecedented changes.
From here starts “reward and punishment”.
We will either reward or punish ourselves. If we accept the need for changes and follow the appropriate scientific method, we will learn the laws, principles in Nature we need to adapt to. As a reward we will be able to solve all our mounting problems, prevent new ones and rise to a qualitatively much higher, collective Human existence.
If we ignore the “call of the time” and stubbornly want to continue with the instinctive, egotistic development, we will punish ourselves sinking into worsening crisis, going through total collapse, wars until intolerable suffering will force us to change.
