Are we ready to become “Jewish and Israel” in the true meaning of the words?!

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

Israel has become indecisive and stuck. There is no clear vision of “victory” and how the region should look after the war. Israel is yielding to the negative and unjust pressure of the external world while still defending itself on three fronts.

At the same time, the undisputed unity we observed a few weeks and months ago evaporated.

The public passively awaits the leaders to do something while the leaders are in a deadlock since they also have to fight their personal battles for their personal and political futures.

We are stuck; the unity is gone because we are all still rooted and imprisoned in our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, exploitative, and hateful natures. there is no difference between leaders and the public, religions or non-religions, left or right.

We are all born with the same instinctive nature, we all exist and behave like cancer cells, wanting everything only for ourselves.

The whole world is the same, except that Jews and Israel have the method of rising above and existing against our inherent nature.

It is this method that makes us Jewish and Israel. Without this method, we are like everybody else, marching towards self-destruction.

So, the question we need to ask is whether we are ready to revive and implement our unique method of selfless and unconditional unity with the help of reality’s single operating force that can help us exist and act above and against ourselves, or we succumb to our instinctive nature?!
