Are we independent or interdependent?!

Question from the Internet:

“Are human beings independent or interdependent on each other?”

We think we are independent, we are born with an innate sense that we are standalone beings with individual freedom and individual rights and we all want to do whatever we decide and choose according to our inherently egocentric and subjective consciousness and perception of reality.

On the other hand, the reality is different.

As the worsening and increasing global problems show us ever more clearly each day, we exist in a globally integrated and totally interdependent world, where we are all but individual cells or cogwheels without any actual individual freedom or independence.

This contradiction between what we feel and think about ourselves and what our actual, true reality is causing all the problems we experience.

Even if we already say that we live in a “global village”, even when we acknowledge that we depend on each other, when it comes to calculations and action we all act only for our own sake, and still try to succeed and survive at each other’s expense.

We are all sitting on the same “global ship” but we still do not understand that if I drill holes underneath another then the whole ship will sink and we all drown. we are receiving a very sharp and frightening proof and experience about this through the pandemic, the Ukrainian war and climate change for example.

This is why we urgently need to learn about our only real “free choice”, willingly and consciously choosing to adapt ourselves to the fully integrated and interdependent Natural system we are born from and still exist in.

Our actual free choice is to proactively and purposefully integrate with each other according to Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated template so that humanity also integrates into Nature’s lawful and deterministic system — without waiting for increasing crisis, wars and total socio-economic collapse where intolerable suffering would force us to perform the same integration and adaptation to Nature.

This action of freely, willingly and consciously adapting ourselves to Nature is our unique Human advantage in the Natural system, as, by it, we become the system’s only fully conscious, integrated and at the same time independent “internal observers” and equal partners.
