Are we in a recession or our civilization is collapsing?

We are not in a recession. Our present civilization is inevitably collapsing. So the present process is not reversible and there will be no upswing or recovery.

On the other hand, we can shorten the transition towards a better safer, more peaceful, more equal and sustainable human society if we understand why our present civilization is collapsing and what we need to do better.

Our present civilization is collapsing because how we live, how we relate to each other and Nature is incompatible with Nature’s strict, unchanging and unforgiving laws that sustain the general balance and homeostasis in nature that life depends on.

We have to stop blindly following our inherently selfish, egocentric and individualistic nature that behaves like cancer in nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system.

Our future success and collective survival depends on learning from Nature how to build positive and constructive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections and cooperation.
