Are we heading in the right or in the wrong direction?!

Question from the Internet:

“Do you think the country is heading in the right direction or the wrong direction?”

It is not obvious which country you are talking about (I assume the US perhaps) but it does not matter actually.

What we keep talking about but we still do not comprehend is that we evolved into a globally integrated and interdependent world. This means that each individual and nation has become an integral part of the world like the cells and organs of a single, living body.

Thus no individual or nation can go in a certain direction while others follow a different direction. Just think about how our body would function if the cells and organs existed like that. Would we exist even for a moment?

If we want to know what “right or wrong” direction means in the first place, we would need to learn how Nature’s fully integrated and interdependent living systems — like our body for example — function and survive.

With our present egocentric, subjective and individualistic/nationalistic viewpoint and calculations we behave like cancer — knowingly or unknowingly.

Our collective human survival — and there is no individual, national, regional or any other survival in this globally integrated and interdependent world — depends on learning how to build Nature-like, finely balanced mutual integration between individuals and nations above and against our inherent attitude and behaviour.

There is only one “right direction” for all of us: following Nature’s direction, adapting ourselves to the strict, unchanging and unforgiving laws that govern the general balance and homeostasis life depends on.
