Are problems bad?
Question from the Internet:
“Is it true that all problems must be solved? If so, why, and if not, why?”
Well, I think if we identify something as a “problem”, that means it is something that creates difficulties for some or prevents better things from unfolding, so if something is a “problem”, it usually needs solving to further facilitate and improve things.
On the other hand, there are many kinds of problems, and also it depends on what viewpoint we look at them. Maybe what I consider a problem is not really a problem; only I see it so from my own subjective and egoistic point of view.
Moreover, problems and difficulties are usually good in that they help us examine our situations deeper and see where we are and where we want to be. By recognizing and solving problems, we grow and develop; without them, we simply remain the same. This is why proper education is always based on problem-solving and placing all kinds of obstacles and difficult scenarios before students.
So much so that one who wants to grow and develop cherishes and welcomes problems as opportunities to get better, stronger and wiser.
For example, today, the whole of humanity is facing the great problem of being unable to comprehend and solve the increasing global crisis that affects all of our activities and survival. If we fully understood this problem and managed to find the right solution, we could propel ourselves to our next, qualitatively much higher evolutionary degree!
