Question from the Internet:
“What would happen if 40% of the world became agricultural land and most of the people became farmers? What are the good and bad sides?”
We might actually come to something very similar soon.
The evolving crisis will force us to scale down to a completely different lifestyle.
Although we think it is the Covid virus that has caused the crisis, in truth this crisis has been brewing for decades and the virus simply made it more obvious and truly irreversible.
We have been stubbornly pushing a Human system with its excessive overconsumption, the exploitation that is incompatible with the Natural system we live in.
Nature lives and develops according to strict laws that sustain a fragile balance and homeostasis, while each and every particle is interconnected according to mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation, making calculations only for the sake of the whole system, collective.
Thus we will be forced to scale down to the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
As a result, only those businesses, occupations will remain that are directly associated with producing and distributing the natural necessities and with building, sustaining the crucially important, mutually responsible and mutually complementing Human interconnections that will give the “scaffolding” of Human societies.
